Dear Member,
As you may be aware, the Club has been dealing with an unprecedented situation over the last few weeks, where it was being sued in the High Court.
On behalf of the Executive I am pleased to report that the entire case against the Club was struck out by the Court yesterday afternoon, with no Order as to Costs. The Club restated its position that the children concerned could continue to participate in their normal and regular squads, with the support of the Club.
As we enter our 140th year Fingallians, a club run by volunteers, with over 2,000 members and over 100 teams, is an inclusive and welcoming place and somewhere that everyone can and should feel valued and a part of.
Everyone is welcome in Fingallians.
As the largest community based organisation in Swords we are steadfast in upholding these values.
We are all custodians of our club and we will shape its future together.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Mise Le Meas,
Colin Foley
Cathaoirleach,
